Organizers Direct was formed in 1992 by Neil Balter, who started California Closets® back in 1978.  Neil’s endeavors have been profiled in the Wall Street Journal and Forbes Magazine as well a few appearances on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”.  More than 1000 newspapers, magazines, radio and television shows have chronicled Neil’s inspirational story.  With that, Neil is credited with being the individual that started the custom closet and home organization industry.

OD has been on the leading edge of technology and manufacturing development for organizing products for over 30 years.  Neil’s intimate knowledge of the design, engineering and manufacturing process for organizing cabinetry products has been sought after by numerous companies in the closet organization industry.

Providing our products to you, the dealers brings you more closet, pantry, and office cabinetry finishes, sizes, door and drawer styles, and accessories, so that you may offer clients more options to choose from.  Starting with our new Premier Italian-made door and drawer profiles, or our new ¾” melamine cabinetry materials, we have more of the fine furnishing elements requested by today’s consumer.  The new Premier collection includes these and other luxurious closet components, such as wood drawer boxes and contour edge shelving.
