Organizers Direct was formed in 1992 by Neil Balter, who started California Closets® back in 1978. Neil’s endeavors have been profiled in the Wall Street Journal and Forbes Magazine as well a few appearances on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”. More than 1000 newspapers, magazines, radio and television shows have chronicled Neil’s inspirational story. With that, Neil is credited with being the individual that started the custom closet and home organization industry.
